The Best Informed Greenhand (B.I.G.) Team participates in various competitive events aiming to be the most informed about the history of the FFA organization and how the organization functions on the local, state, and national level.

The Welding team uses knowledge and physical welding skills in order to compete at competitions throughout California.
Small Engines
The purpose of the contest is to stimulate an appreciation for small engine repair and serve as one method of training Future Farmers in the skills and safety practices needed in diagnosing engine malfunctions.

The Cooperative Marketing team is tested on the knowledge of cooperative Agricultural marketing, and how to run and operate a successful Agricultural business.
