Veterinary Science Career Development Events seek to effectively prepare the students for the expectations of the animal health care and services (Veterinary Hospitals/Clinics, Grooming Facilities, Pet Stores, Kennels/Boarding Facilities, and Feed Stores) workplace.  

Floriculture

​The Floriculture Career Development Event seeks to effectively prepare students for the expectations of the agricultural floral industry.  Students will develop a high degree of knowledge and skill in the industry while using critical thinking and oral communication skills.

Nursery Landscape

The Nursery Landscape Career Development Event seeks to prepare students for a career within nursery care as well as maintenance. 

B.I.G.

The Best Informed Greenhand (B.I.G.) Team participates in various competitive events aiming to be the most informed about the history of the FFA organization and how the organization functions on the local, state, and national level.

Welding

The Welding team uses knowledge and physical welding skills in order to compete at competitions throughout California.
